What is Cover Area?

“covered area” means each story (e.g. Ground floor, First Floor ..) area covered by building immediately above plinth level considering all the floors at all levels, but does not include the spaces exempted under these rules and the space covered by—

Excluding this area –

(a) garden, boundary, well and well structure, plant nursery, water pool, swimming pool (if not covered),

platform round a tree, tank, fountain or bench,

(b) drainage, culvert, conduit, septic tank or soak pit,

(c) compound wall and gate, and area covered by chajja;

This type of estimate shows the Probable Quantity of items work with schedule rates and total Construction Cost required to complete the proposed work.
